The derivation of "Hoei"
From Shizuoka
Prefecture if you look up out towards Mt. Fuji, you will
see a
peak on it's right.This peak, a result
of a volcanic eruption (in 1707, the 4th year of the
Hoei Period) was named "Mt. Hoei." Hoei Denki
was named after this mountain which stands alongside "Mt.
Fuji," thus representing the strong connection
between Hoei Denki and Fuji Electric Group which is
our main shareholder and supplier. |
